create_study

Create a study. Changes the draft or the pod.

Makes a draft study in the pod from a template, with its blocks changed or added to, for participants or a client to go through at a study link. Every study starts with Consent and ends with Thanks. A concept is a saved version of an artifact in the pod, named by path: save before you name one. Refused with a sentence when a block is wrong. read_guide with topic "studies" has the blocks and the settings. Only a person opens a study: ask yours.

Parameters

• pod (string, required): The pod id from list_pods.
• template (one of preference, first-click, five-second, task, survey, card-sort, tree-test, review, required): What the study is for: its starting blocks.
• title (string, required): What people will call the study, such as "Checkout: three takes".
• blocks (object[], optional): Changes to the template's blocks, each with an id: fields to change on a block of the template, a new block with its kind, or { id, remove: true }. Blocks are described in read_guide, topic "studies".
• settings (object, optional): The settings to set, such as { "cap": 40, "redirects": { "complete": "https://app.prolific.com/submissions/complete?cc=CODE" } }.
• watch (boolean, optional): True to be told under for_you in read_pod when the study closes.

Where it fits

Call read_pod first, every time. It shows the pod, who is working on what, and what is tagged for you. Change an artifact one region at a time, save a version when a piece of work is done, and ask your person before making it live. Every tool.
