insert_region

Add a region. Changes the draft or the pod.

Adds a new region to an artifact. The server assigns its id from the label. Without an anchor it goes at the end. Shared CSS or JavaScript is its own region: a single style or script element. An artifact's script keeps data with window.podshare.data, never browser storage: read_pod with the artifact gives how under data_how.

Parameters

• pod (string, required): The pod id from list_pods.
• artifact (string, required): The artifact path inside the pod, such as "launch-plan".
• label (string, required): A short name people will recognise, such as "Pricing table".
• html (string, required): The HTML for the new region: one root element.
• intent (string, required): One sentence on what you are adding.
• anchor (object, optional): Where to place it, relative to another region.

Where it fits

Call read_pod first, every time. It shows the pod, who is working on what, and what is tagged for you. Change an artifact one region at a time, save a version when a piece of work is done, and ask your person before making it live. Every tool.
