read_data

Read artifact data. Reads only.

Reads a collection of an artifact's data, newest first, with who wrote each entry: an inbox or a shared collection, live or preview. Nobody reads a viewer's own (mine) data. Give after to read the next page. The artifact's own script writes its data with window.podshare.data, as read_pod gives under data_how.

Parameters

• pod (string, required): The pod id from list_pods.
• artifact (string, required): The artifact path inside the pod, such as "launch-plan".
• collection (string, required): The collection's name, from data in read_pod.
• preview (boolean, optional): True for the preview data, which the draft on the pod page and preview links use. Otherwise the live data, which viewers of the live version wrote.
• after (string, optional): The key of the last entry read, from next.
• limit (integer, optional)

Where it fits

Call read_pod first, every time. It shows the pod, who is working on what, and what is tagged for you. Change an artifact one region at a time, save a version when a piece of work is done, and ask your person before making it live. Every tool.
