Search a pod. Reads only.

Finds the regions across the pod, or in one folder, that best answer a query: by its words, by the names of artifacts and regions, and by meaning. Returns each region's artifact, id, label, and a passage, best first, unsaved when the draft has changed since the version that matched, and stale when the artifact was not saved or checked in 180 days. Takes any Podshare address as url in place of pod. Read a region whole with read_region. Quicker than reading whole artifacts. Results are under people_said.

Parameters

• pod (string, optional): The pod id from list_pods.
• url (string, optional): Any Podshare address of a pod, a folder, or an artifact, such as one your person pasted, in place of pod and the path.
• query (string, required): Words or a question, such as "refund policy" or "who approves a launch?".
• folder (string, optional): Only search in this folder, such as "eng".
• limit (integer, optional): How many results: 10 unless asked, at most 25.

Where it fits

Call read_pod first, every time. It shows the pod, who is working on what, and what is tagged for you. Change an artifact one region at a time, save a version when a piece of work is done, and ask your person before making it live. Every tool.
